Collaborate with me

Booking now for Q1 - Q3 2026. I have some limited availability remaining Dec 2025 - Feb 2026.

I prioritise projects that are aligned to advancing Indigenous and disability rights; climate justice; and social good, and I love to work with purpose-driven organisations and groups who share this passion.

If you’d like to work with me, please fill out the contact form below to share some details about your project, your organisation, and your positionality / relationship to the affected community or the problem you’re trying to solve.

Then we can line up an initial call for whanaukataka / getting to know each other and getting started.

Services

  • Kera is available for public speaking, panel moderation, and event MCing for values aligned virtual, in-person, or hybrid events.

    Frequently requested topics include:

    • Indigenous rights & climate change 101

    • Disability rights & climate change 101

    • Relationships as the foundation of social change

    • Table top analogy for systemic drivers of climate change

    • Storytelling for social change

I am comfortable speaking to these topics, and more, in an extended keynote format, shorter presentations, or as part of a panel discussion. I am also comfortable moderating and MCing events.

For virtual events, I present from my home studio which is sound treated, and equipped with studio microphones, lighting, cameras, and a StreamDeck along with other webinar and moderation tools. Even remotely, you can be assured of a high quality image and audio output fit for broadcast.

  • As an event MC and panel moderator, my style is relational, researched, and prepared.

I thrive on small opportunities to get to know panellists and speakers ahead of events wherever possible, to co-create impactful conversations, and find unexpected nuggets that will add value and delight for the audience.

My approach is always to over-prepare ahead of the event, so we have the freedom and comfort to be relaxed and flexible in the moment. I like to have a strong understanding of event purpose, any must-cover items, and the feeling and impact we are hoping to leave with the audience. But don’t fret if you’re not there yet - I have a process that I can guide you through if you’d prefer to develop this together.

Whenever possible, I tend to connect with panellists or speakers ahead of the event to understand their goals, content, and background that is relevant to the event, so we can co-create the conversations together and so I can support them to maximise their impact on the day. In other words, I like to go beyond the bio when preparing introductions or facilitating panels.

I am experienced working with speakers and panellists with a range of accessibility and language needs, so you can be assured that my moderation and MCing style is inclusive and equitable - designed to help all speakers feel at ease, and ready to share their best.

Lastly, I am privileged to have developed a wide network throughout my career, so am well placed to put together dynamic and complementary panels if you’re not yet set on the lineup. Additionally, if I’m not available or the right fit for your event, I can likely recommend someone else who is.

  • I am an experienced facilitator, particularly passionate about community engagement and co-designing outcomes with those who are closest to the problem (and usually closest to the solutions).

I can provide on-the-day facilitation, for specific parts of an overarching conference or workshop programme where you need additional support.

However, I do my best work when involved in the project early on, with the ability to guide clients through my process to ensure that their workshop or event is designed to maximise impact and experience for participants. In this way, I can support you to prepare the pre-event experience to make sure that participants are primed to engage effectively, all the way through to curating the experience during the session, and the wrap up after the session has ended.

Thinking holistically about participant experience has enabled me to deliver workshops and wānaka that not only deliver on client outcomes, but that also make participants feel meaningfully included, and considered.

I particularly specialise in facilitating wānaka and workshops across timezones and languages, and for participant groups with a range of disability and accessibility requirements.

For virtual workshops, I present from my home studio which is sound treated, and equipped with studio microphones, lighting, cameras, and a StreamDeck along with other webinar and moderation tools. Even remotely, you can be assured of a high quality image and audio output fit for broadcast.

  • If you’d like specific support related to any of my areas of expertise, I can support your organisation on an ad-hoc, project-based, or retainer basis. Please share a project brief if you have one available, or else share as much as you can about your project in the contact form.
